Materials & Standards Compliance:
These flexible hoses are manufactured from high-grade austenitic stainless steels such as SS 316, SS 316L, and SS 304. The manufacturing process strictly adheres to BS 6501 (Part 1: 2004) and ISO 10380:2012 standards. These materials and construction practices ensure that the hoses are durable, pressure-resistant, and flexible, making them suitable for a wide range of demanding industrial applications.
Available Sizes:
The hoses are produced in a wide range of sizes — starting from 1/4 inch up to 12 inches — to meet various operational needs.
Braiding for Pressure Strength:
When internal pressure is applied, unbraided hoses tend to stretch in length. To counter this, a braided layer of stainless steel wire is added to the outer surface.
This braid enhances pressure resistance and helps maintain the hose’s shape.
One to three layers of braiding can be used depending on the working pressure requirement.
The braid is usually made from SS 304 wire, but SS 316 can also be used when higher corrosion resistance is needed.
Custom braiding options are available based on client specifications.
Performance and Flexibility:
The braided layer is flexible and moves seamlessly with the hose, allowing for ease of use in systems with frequent movement or vibration. It prevents overstretching while maintaining flexibility.
Common Applications:
Stainless steel flexible hoses are used across a variety of sectors, including:
Oil Refineries
Power Generation Plants
Steel and Nuclear Facilities
Fertilizer, Chemical, and Pharmaceutical Industries
Cryogenic Services
Boilers and Paper Manufacturing Units
Lubrication Systems and Automotive Equipment
Ports, Shipyards, and Marine Applications
Steam and Hot Water Transfer
Vibration Isolation Systems
